Last week, Opera's hybrid Norwegian/American Phillip (Grønvold) travelled from Silicon Valley to Oslo to show off the T-Mobile G1 Android device with Opera Mini. That caught the attention of Anders Brenna, the editor at Digi.no, a leading IT news outlet in Norway. Check out Phillip's demo of Opera Mini on the Android. Webjam is a conference where presenters get 3 minutes to show off their hot Web work. At Webjam 8 Opera had two speaking slots (there were 21 in total). Our scruffy Aussie, Charles McCathieNevile, talked about Dragonfly while Andreas Bovens showcased some of the experimental web technologies inside Opera 9.5/6. Here are their talks:
